Survivors of landmines, AIDS, sex-trafficking, or extreme poverty in Cambodia need to find a means of earning a living. Friendship with Cambodia is supporting non-profit organizations in Cambodia that help these disadvantaged individuals start new lives.
 These organizations offer skill training, such as sewing, wood carving, or basketry and they provide employment through craft production. They make beautiful handbags, silk scarves, cotton scarves, small purses, jewelry, greeting cards, ornaments, baskets, place mats, tea towels, toys, and many other products. The crafts people receive a livable wage for their work, which is why the crafts they sell are called fair-trade.
