Most of the landmine survivors cannot support themselves, because they can no longer farm (85% of Cambodians are farmers). Friendship with Cambodia is supporting a vocational training program in Cambodia that offers vocational training in small engine repair (motorbikes are the main mode of transportation in Cambodia), appliance repair and sewing. Graduates receive help in starting their own businesses.
